SIR – I applaud the council in their efforts to encourage gulls in Worcester to go elsewhere by exchanging their eggs for dummy ones (Worcester News, April 30).
My sympathies go to the Worcester News editor who in ‘retaliation’ for his headline had his car bombarded by not one, but 20 droppings from the vermin (Worcester News, May 3). I have no car so feel fairly safe, but at the risk of offending pigeons is it too much to hope that someone will find a way of further reducing their population in our city?
