SIR – There have been a few comments on the Worcester News letters page about Asda in Worcester and how it’s expensive but at least all the staff are polite, unlike the staff in Aldi.
On a recent visit to the store to pick up some cat litter and a couple of extra bits, the cashier rudely tapped her finger on the counter while I was sorting out my money.
I do not pay until I have packed for the very simple reason that as soon as you pay the next customer’s shopping starts being thrown through.
Why do they treat the items as though it’s a basketball match, are they on piecework?
