SIR – I’m researching my family history and wonder if anybody in Ombersley can help.
My great grandfather Thomas Henry Collins was born in Ombersley in 1886.
His parents were James and Harriet Collins.
He was one of 11 children and lived in the Hadley area of Ombersley.
James was a farm labourer and Harriet was a local girl.
Thomas left Ombersley after 1910 to marry Emma Alice Wyatt, of Worcester, but one of their children was born in Ombersley.
