SIR – I think John Phillpott has overlooked one important point in his welcome lambasting of the celebrity experts who seem to infest our television screens (Worcester News, June 30).
Journalists may be missing out on the on-screen side of things but there’s probably an army of backroom talent which researches and writes the scripts the luvvies read off the teleprompts.
