SIR – Re George Cowley’s letter ‘People who shouldn’t be allowed to drive’ (Worcester News , July 25).

1. I don’t own a car and never want to.

2. Public transport? What a joke. It never runs on time, the cost of a bus ticket is far too much for any journey around Worcester (single or return).

3. I have not reached the age to own a bus pass.

4. When is Mr Cowley going to wake up to the real world and smell the coffee?

Life is what you make it.

Just sitting around and doing nothing doesn’t get you anywhere, but it seems to me that Mr Cowley is happy just sitting and moaning.
