SIR – Isn’t ironic that Upton folk are complaining about the clutter of unauthorised advertising boards in their beautiful town while not reluctant to plaster them without consent over other communities?
(worcesternews.co.uk, August 8). I attach a picture of a sign on the Powick roundabout, left.
I saw no planning application. It is a definite distraction for road users (apart from being unsightly).
As it takes about 10 seconds to read this sign, any motorist will be distracted.
I don’t wish to detract from the wonderful music festival – but less hypocrisy would be great. Please take action.
