SIR – The modern newsagents in the Tything, Worcester, has recently been taken over by Mr Sriprabatara, who was born in Sri Lanka.
I was very impressed by the complete change of the premises.
Every item for sale is immaculately presented; from every magazine and daily newspaper to a tempting fresh display of snacks ready for the hordes of hungry schoolchildren from nearby centres of education.
Opening and closing hours of business have been extended for the benefit of early and late customers – also, the lottery is available for would-be millionaires such as myself.
My brother and I have been regular customers at this convenience shop for many years and will certainly continue to do so for many more years to come, God willing.
