A BAND night organised by two cancer survivors will get people in the mood for dancing while providing a big boost for Worcester's breast unit.
The band night will take place at the Pavilion in the Park, Cripplegate Park, Worcester on Saturday, September 30 from 7.30pm onwards.
Organised by Breast Unit Events, the night aims to raise money
for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven based near the Charles Hastings Education Centre next to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Worcester's covers band, Come Together, along with some special guests, will play.
Breast Unit Events was set up in 2014 by best friends Kate Butler and Susie Coleman who have both had experience of breast cancer. They put on events in their spare time to raise money for the ongoing work of the unit.
Kate Butler of Breast Unit Events said: “We can't wait for the band to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Worcester’s Think Pink October. We're looking forward to getting our dancing shoes on and having great fun while raising money for this fantastic cause."
Tickets cost just £20 each and include food.
Tickets are available from Susie Coleman via email: susie@breastunitevents.co.uk or you
can contact Breast Unit Events through Facebook or Twitter (@bu_events).
