A MURDER suspect is due to enter his plea today after his alleged victim was found dead in a burnt out car.

Mark Chilman, from Pencombe, Bromyard, is due to enter a plea at Worcester Crown Court this afternoon. Chilman was charged in relation to the incident that occurred in Ankerdine Road, Cotheridge on Saturday, December 12.

The alleged victim, 60, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was found dead in the car, reported to have been burnt out.

In a previous statement Detective Chief Inspector Mark Peters said: “This is clearly a very serious and tragic incident that has seen a man lose his life and our thoughts are very much with his family and friends at this sad time."

Meanwhile the jury is expected to continue hearing evidence in the Redditch murder trial.

Mohammed Hussain, 25, from Oakfield Drive, Rednal, Birmingham and Faisel Fiaz, 21, from Millsbro Road, Redditch have been charged with murder and conspiracy to commit robbery.

Police have also charged Adam Carpenter, 21, from Wharrington Hill, Redditch, with conspiring to commit robbery. The case will be heard by Judge James Burbidge QC, the Recorder of Worcester, who is the city's most senior judge.

Colton Bryan, 22, was killed at his home in Guinness Close, Headless Cross on July 15 last year.
