A WOMAN accused of stealing more than £100,000 from a woman and from the company which employed her (an early years centre) is due to appear at a Worcester court today.

Jane Myhill, 55, of Cowleigh Road, Malvern is scheduled to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court accused of theft by an employee and theft running into many thousands. It is expected the case will be sent straight to the crown court.

The prosecution say she has stolen £27,456 from Alice Bennett (theft by employee) in Malvern between April 14, 2015 and August 31, 2019 and also theft of £74,721, also belonging to Alice Bennett, between January 1, 2015 and August 31, 2019.

Meanwhile, Saood Ali, 20, of Lark Hill Road, Worcester is up for possession of crack cocaine and possession of a blade in Shrub Hill railway station in Worcester on April 15 last year.

Also due in today is Gerald Peckover, aged 69, of High House Drive, Worcester who is accused of drink driving in Inkberrow on December 12 last year.

The reading was said to be 84mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, more than double the legal limit of 35mcg.'

At Worcester Crown Court the Redditch murder trial continues.

Colton Bryan, 22, died of his injuries after he was stabbed with a nine inch hunting knife at his flat in Guinness Close, Redditch shortly after 9.15pm on July 15 last year.

The man who is believed to have carried out the fatal stabbing - Mohammed Hammad Hussain - is said to have fled to Pakistan on the earliest flight he could board and is still being sought by the authorities.

Adam Carpenter, 21, of Wharrington Hill, Redditch, Faisal Fiaz, 21, of Millsbro Road, Redditch and Mohammed Saddam Hussain, 25, of Oakfield Avenue, Birmingham (Hammad Hussain's brother) are on trial at Worcester Crown Court.

All three men deny murder and conspiracy to rob following the stabbing shortly after 9.30pm.
