A 29-year-old man has denied sexually assaulting a traffic warden in Worcester by slapping her bum.
Adam Crisp, of Aspen Croft, Stafford denied the sexual assault, alleged to have taken place in Worcester city centre, when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester on Thursday.
The suited defendant pleaded not guilty to sexual assault of a female on August 20, 2019.
Shafquat Reaz, prosecuting, said the charge related to an alleged sexual assault in Worcester city centre when the defendant is alleged to have 'approached her and, without warning, slapped her bottom'.
Magistrates accepted jurisdiction for the case.
Crisp was then given the choice of where he wanted the trial heard - in the magistrates or crown court. He opted to have the trial heard by judge and jury at the crown court.
The next hearing is scheduled to take place at Worcester Crown Court on February 24. Crisp was granted unconditional bail until that hearing.
