VIDEO has emerged of a man swimming down Worcester's flooded river Severn in just his boxer shorts.

We reported yesterday how emergency services rushed to the main bridge after reports a man had jumped in the water wearing nothing but his boxer shorts as he swam towards Diglis.

Ambulance, police and fire crews responded to the incident at around lunchtime. Police later released a photo of a man they wanted to speak to in connection with the incident.

One witness said she asked a man, who filmed the swimmer, if his friend was 'mad'.
