A GOLF club-wielding attacker and suspected sex offenders are due in magistrates court today.

Meanwhile, at Worcester Crown Court Richard Evans, 48, accused of the attempted murder of his former partner at his home in Ronkswood Hill, Worcester, is continuing to give evidence.

Evans denies he intended to kill her when he 'dunked' her head under the water in the bath on July 4 last year.

Peter Deparis, 28, of Cheltenham Road, Sedgeberrow is due at Worcester Magistrates Court today, accused of criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon and assault by beating against two police officers. The offences are said to have taken place in Inkberrow on December 3 last year.

Stephen Evans, 57, of Edith Berry Court, Malvern is up for using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour in Malvern on November 11 last year and of being outside the place where he was living without reasonable excuse under the coronavirus restrictions.

Anthony Blewett, 61, of Selbourne Road, Worcester is up for assault of a girl under 13 by penetration, sexual assault and cause or incite a girl to engage in sexual activity.

Joshua Diock of St Peters Street, Worcester, is up for sexual assault on a female and assault by beating in Worcester High Street on August 27 last year.
