A 21-year-old man accused of smashing the windows of a car and house with a baseball bat has had the case against him dismissed.
Mohammed Ali had been accused of three charges of criminal damage but the prosecution offered no evidence as the main prosecution witness did not attend court.
The case against Ali was therefore formally dismissed at Worcester Magistrates Court today.
Ali of Wyld's Lane, Worcester, who was represented by Sam Lamsdale, had been accused of causing the damage on November 24 last year.
Shawn Williams, prosecuting, said: "We would not seek a witness warrant. I offer no evidence in these circumstances."
