A DRINK driver crashed into a river with the car ending up upside-down in the water.
The incident happened in Bourton-on-the-Water in the Cotswolds on New Year's Eve. The picture, shared by Cotswolds Police on Twitter, shows the overturned car in the River Windrush.

A black Mini was pictured on its roof in the water near the bank with officers at the scene looking on.
A spokesman for Cotswolds Police said: "Parking in Bourton on the Water has always been an issue, however we do not recommend parking in the water. Driver arrested after blowing a positive roadside breath test."
