POLICE, firefighters and paramedics all rushed to a field near a Worcestershire village after a report of a plane crash.
The emergency services were told that they may have been a light aircraft crash in a field between Pershore and Worcester on Sunday afternoon.
However, no evidence of a crash site or a plane could be found at the suggested scene - which is off Brickyard Lane near Drakes Broughton.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service confirm plane crash call was false alarm
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they had been called to the possible plane crash.
She said: "We had a report of a plane crash. We have to go out to check on the report but nothing was found. It was a false alarm."
The emergency services were called at around 3pm.
