A CRYING woman who stabbed her ex and 'left him for dead' wishes magistrates would send her to jail after her latest drunken behaviour landed her back in court.

Chloe Kendrick of Meadow Sweet Court, Malvern, was back before a court for being drunk and disorderly after she was kicked out of a town pub and started throwing stones at cars.

CASE: Chloe Kendrick was back in court on Monday.

However, the 29-year-old, who appeared before magistrates in Worcester, is now at risk of going to jail because she is in breach of a suspended sentence (20 months suspended for two years) for grievous bodily harm.

Speaking at court on Monday after being handed a tissue, the tearful defendant said: "I wish you could just send me to prison today."

ADMISSION: Chloe Kendrick admitted being drunk and disorderly but the offence places her in breach of suspended prison sentence for a much more serious charge - GBH.

Magistrates told her they will now have to alert the crown court of the breach of the sentence, imposed last July. It will be for a judge to decide what will happen to her.

She stabbed a former partner through the abdomen and told him: "Now you know how I feel."

The victim lost four and a half litres of blood and had to be rushed by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on Friday, November 8, 2019.

Both parties had been drinking before the attack and had consumed 'significant amounts of alcohol', the court heard.

Michael Hall, prosecuting, said at the GBH hearing last year: "Police attended the home address of Miss Kendrick and found the victim lying on the bed clutching a blood-stained rag. He was holding it to his lower abdomen and was in clear pain and distress."

Police identified what was estimated to be a 10 to 15mm laceration below his belly button on the right-hand side.

Mr Wint required surgery because of damage to his lower bowel.

He had lost around half a litre of blood at the scene itself but investigations by medics at the hospital revealed a further four litres of blood in his abdominal cavity which had to be drained.

Kendrick was arrested at the home of a former partner, initially on suspicion of attempted murder.

Azra Hussain who prosecuted the drunk and disorderly case at the magistrates court said police were called to the Three Horseshoes in Malvern shortly before midnight on December 5 last year to reports of a female who had been ejected and was reportedly 'throwing stones at cars'.

"She was surrounded by staff from the pub who called police and an ambulance for her" said Ms Hussain.

She also raised her voice and swore at officers.

Ms Hussain said: "She started to cry and was arrested."

Kendrick, who represented herself, initially would not provide mitigation or speak in her own defence.

She later provided information to magistrates not made public.

Kendrick told magistrates: "I'm really struggling. I've got no electric which I'm trying sort out and I have zero money."

Magistrates fined her £40 and ordered her to pay a victim surcharge of £34. They waived costs. Deductions will be made from her benefits.
