A PENSIONER will need surgery after he suffered facial injuries in an alleged robbery.
The robbery happened at around 6.40pm on Thursday (June 16) in the alley running between Westbury Street and Lion Court in Worcester.
A 68-year-old man suffered facial injuries that will require surgery, and his phone was stolen, West Mercia Police has confirmed.

West Mercia Police is hoping to speak to anyone who saw the incident or captured it on camera.
