A MAN will face a trial for three thefts at Worcester Crown Court in the new year.

Frankie Butler, of Smite Caravan site, Pershore Lane, Hindlip, previously denied three counts of "theft including theft by finding”.

His trial was scheduled to begin this week, but instead Butler attended a pre-trial review at the court on Wednesday, (September 28).

During the short hearing new stage dates - when the prosecution and defence reveal their evidence and the full details of the defence - were scheduled.

Judge Martin Jackson told the 32-year-old his trial will be placed in a warned list beginning March 6.

The warned list means the case can be called on, with just 24 hours notice, at any point in the fortnight after that date.

Butler remains on conditional bail, which includes the condition he must live at the Hindlip address.
