THE finale episode of a popular dating show is set to air tonight.

Married at First Sight UK is a dating show on All 4 that scientifically matches couples who meet for the first time on their wedding day.

This year, viewers met 16 new brave singletons looking for love, including George Roberts, a financial advisor from Worcester and Malvern.

And over the past month, fans have been glued to their screens from 9pm every day to see what their favourite newlyweds have been up to.

This season we have witnessed explosive dinner parties and heartfelt declarations of love in the commitment ceremonies.

In the final episode, the couples will be renewing their vows to each other and deciding whether they want to continue with their marriage in the outside world.

Mr Roberts and his wife April are one of the strongest couples in the experiment despite having some problems on the honeymoon.

The dad-of-four was left heartbroken when he found out his wife had kissed another woman on their honeymoon.

But the couple managed to work through their issues and decided to stay in the experiment.

In the penultimate episode, the couple took part in a dramatic ceremony where one person out of the marriage could opt to leave.

In last night's episode (Wednesday) Mr Roberts shared his concerns about being hurt again in a new relationship.

His mum said: "George, you're going to have to take some emotional risks and that's going to be hard for someone with trust issues like you.

"And if you're overprotective of her you know that is going to make things difficult."

While renewing their vows the couple stood in front of a scenic backdrop, the couple revealed to the nation whether they will stay together after the experiment.

April said: "I can't wait to start my forever relationship with you and the best is yet to come."
