TICKETS for a popular school sporting event held at Sixways Stadium are officially on sale.

The Modus Cup is a special rugby match held annually at Sixways Stadium between Royal Grammer School Worcester and The King's School Worcester, which is set to be held on Monday, November 7.

Every October, the rugby teams from the two schools face off in the match, and this year will be no different despite the ongoing administration at Sixways Stadium.

In a joint statement by both schools from last month, they said: "We are very much looking forward to the ever-popular annual rugby derby between King’s Worcester and RGS.

"It is our intention that this very popular fixture goes ahead in October and at present, this is planned to be at Sixways.

"We will endeavour to confirm a date shortly and we look forward to welcoming the communities of both schools together again."

Tickets for the game are available to purchase from both schools, with £5.50 for under 19's and £8 for adult tickets.

The Sixways ticket office will be open on the day of the match only.
