POLICE rushed to a city railway station yesterday over concerns about a man's welfare.

A British Transport Police vehicle was seen parked outside Worcester Foregate Street Railway Station yesterday evening.

Paramedics also attended.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Officers were called to Worcester Foregate Street at 6.11pm last night (November 14) following concern for the welfare of a man.

"Paramedics also attended and he was taken to a place of safety."
