The pub closed on January 2 and is set to re-open on Friday, March 3.

A spokesperson for the pub said in a notice shared on Facebook: "IMPORTANT NOTICE Please be aware that from 5, Monday 2nd Jan, we shut our doors for a Winter break and will be re-opening with our normal hours on Friday, March 3. Bookings for after that date are still being taken during our closed period so hopefully we will see you all again from March.

"May we take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you that has supported us in 2022 and we wish you all a very happy and prosperous new year, let's all get through this tricky Winter and look forward to better days ahead.

From us all at the 'Live'."

The Live and Let Live is one of the oldest buildings on Bringsty common. This 16th Century former cider house is described on the website as 'the only thatched pub in Herefordshire'.

A spokesperson for the pub said on the website: "We are a country pub and restaurant in every sense of the word, the pub cannot be seen from any main road and is set deep onto Bringsty common. We serve a variety of local real ales and ciders and it is our intention to serve good wholesome food using local produce wherever possible."

The pub is known for its views across Bringsty Common and the Malvern Hills in the distance, 'a high standard of quality food with a menu to suit the seasons' and an 'extensive garden area to enjoy an outside dining experience'.
