KITTENS dumped on a doorstep in a plastic bag now need a new loving home.

The cute felines, who sleep cuddled together, are now being housed at the RSPCA Worcester and Mid - Worcestershire Branch at The Holdings in Holdings Lane, Kempsey, near Worcester.

The animals were left at an address in Redditch as the hunt begins to give them a new home.

A spokesperson said: "Two days into the New Year we had a call from a member of the public to say that three kittens had been dumped on their doorstep in a plastic bag.

"Our Cattery Team Leader was straight on the case, and she collected the kittens and has been fostering them ever since (not all heroes wear capes!)!

"It's been a round-the-clock job, as these little ones were only around 3-weeks-old when rescued, so 3-hourly feeds have been required...when you hand-rear kittens, sleep-deprivation is part of the deal.

"It's been worth it though, as Malcolm, Marcus and Mathew are now growing like weeds and they have the biggest of personalities (you may remember them as Marjorie, Maribel and Millicent from a previous post... somewhere along the line there was a change in gender, as we realised they're actually all boys)..

"Malcolm is the largest of the three and the leader…he is brave and confident.

"Marcus is the naughtiest and the most loving. Mathew is the smallest and least confident. He developed slower than his brothers and follows their lead.

"They are all incredibly affectionate; total cuddle monsters who will climb on a lap every opportunity they get!

They are being fostered with dogs and adult cats, and they are extremely confident around them, loving to snuggle with the dogs and not a bit bothered when one of the cats (a slightly sassy ex-Holdings resident) hisses at them.

"They all sleep cuddled up with each other, and are clearly great pals, so we don't have the heart to break up this tremendous trio who have been through so much together... which is why we are looking for a home for them as a three!

"If you could offer this to them, we'd love to hear from you! Please visit our website www.rspca-worcester.org/animals-for-adoption/cats to complete a Perfect Match form, and email it to animalcentrestaff@rspcaworcester.org.uk"
