POLICE are investigating the theft of a large amount of red diesel from a Worcestershire village. 

The theft occurred on Birts Street, Birtsmorton in the early hours of Friday, January 27.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.
