SPEEDING drivers got a wake up call and a talking to when officers performed checks at various locations around Worcester.
The checks took place yesterday afternoon for the speed operation with one driver travelling well in excess of the speed limit.

A spokesperson for the Safer Neighbourhood Teams for Worcester, part of West Mercia Police, said: "Speeders beware! Officers have been in locations around Worcester this afternoon conducting a speed operation. Several drivers have been spoken to and one Traffic Offence Report has been issued for excess."
