THE police have blocked off a road on a roundabout on the road to Crowle tonight.
The road was blocked this afternoon just off the A4440/B4636 towards Crowle, not far from Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
A West Mercia Police van on blue lights and cones blocked the road near the motorway bridge on the Crowle road.
A witness said: "The police have a road blocked off not far from the hospital. It's the island that leads to Crowle and Worcester junction 6.
"The road is closed in the Crowle direction just before the road crosses over the motorway bridge. The cars had all backed up there at 5.45pm and when we came back it was cordoned off in one direction with two officers there and the van blocking the road and a parked car in the kerbside."
