SUSPECTED burglars accused of conspiracy to commit a string of house raids have been named by police.
Tony Myers, 20 and Kaine Smith, 22, were charged yesterday with conspiracy to commit burglary with intent to steal after break-ins at a number of homes, including in Powick and Malvern.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "In the early hours of yesterday morning we charged Tony Myers aged 20 and Kaine Smith aged 22 both from Old Hobicus Lane, Oldbury, Birmingham with conspiracy to commit burglary dwelling with intent to steal.
"This is for numerous burglary offences across West Mercia - South Worcester, North Worcester, Shrewsbury and Telford.
"South Worcester proactive CID are running this large investigation (Operation Rotate) and working closely with West Midlands Police."
Myers is further charged with driving without insurance and Kaine with two no insurance offences and one matter of dangerous driving
Both were remanded by police and attended Kidderminster Magistrates Court where they were then given conditional bail.
