A MAN who attacked one ex-partner and threatened to 'destroy her life' has now admitted attacking a second woman and smashing her mobile phone.

Tyler Cleveley pleaded guilty to an attack on a second victim when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester on Monday.

The 24-year-old of Swallowfields, Worcester, admitted assault by beating, criminal damage to a mobile phone and harassment without violence.

The attack and the damage to the phone took place on March 15 this year and the harassment occurred between March 15 and 28. Cleveley 'repeatedly contacted her by messages, calls and attending her workplace'.

We have previously reported how Tyler also attacked a second woman.

Cleveley admitted destroying property, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and sending a letter/electronic communication/article with intent to cause distress or anxiety.

The incident happened on Mother's Day - Sunday, March 19 - this year.

Cleveley damaged a 42-inch television, valued at £400, belonging to his former partner, 'intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.'

The victim, a former girlfriend who asked not to be identified, said 'he split my lip, punched me, kicked me'.

She also says he made threats to her family in a recorded call and has shown messages in which he writes: "I'll destroy your life."

The woman said: "I just hope it spreads awareness.

"I just hope he sorts himself out but I don’t want to stay quiet as I did that for a while.

"I should have spoken up some time ago.

"I think he could sort himself out and hopefully get on the right path but it’s something that wouldn’t be done overnight. He needs some professional help.

"I just hope it encourages others to speak up."

The case is now listed for sentence on June 30 at Worcester Crown Court. On Monday Cleveley was remanded in custody for further enquiries to be made. A further hearing is due to take place at Worcester Magistrates Court on June 15.
