PETROLHEADS were spoiled for choice as a vast array of classic cars from supercars to the more stately and elegant motors of a bygone age shimmered in the sunshine.

The classic car lineup made for an impressive Coffee and Chrome spectacle at the Impney Estate, near Droitwich on Saturday. Around 1,000 classic cars were brought to the show between 9am and 1pm.

Clive Brown, who attended the event and took these photos, said: "It was a great event which - with the Chateau Impney closed - brought some life back to the grounds and the turnout was incredible.

"The mixture of classic cars, supercars and everyday classics meant there was something there for everyone. I look forward to the next one."

Organised by Footman James, the event near Droitwich has always been a mecca for car enthusiasts from classics like the Austin Mini Clubman Estate to Porche 911s and from the 1928 Delage DR70A to the BMW M3. Other motors to turn heads include the 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback and the 1981 Triumph TR7 Convertible.

Pre-war motors, hot hatches, and classic sport cars such as Jaguar E-types and a Lamborghini Uracco have also been glimpsed at the event.
