A POPULAR food and drink festival is back and has been described by organisers as being "bigger and better" than ever.

Droitwich Spa Food and Drink Festival will again fill Lido Park with fresh, mouthwatering aromas and foot-tapping music this weekend.

Food lovers are invited to explore various food stalls and watch chef demonstrations over the jam-packed weekend, which starts this Friday.

The event will also have a Pirates of the Caribbean and Alice in Wonderland escape room for the whole family to get involved in, as well as a fun fair.

The festival has been advertised as being bigger and better than the previous 13 years the festival has run.

Mark Cookson, the festival organiser, said: "We included a Friday evening which has never been done before, and people can come to listen to live music and have some food and drink.

Other entertainment throughout the weekend includes balloon modelling, a glitter bar and a bubble factory.
