A WOMAN is in a serious but stable condition in hospital after a crash on a major road near Worcester.

The crash was on the B4204 at Clifton Upon Teme,at around 8.45pm on Friday, June 23.

A Kia Sportage and a Volkswagen Polo were involved in the crash, and a passenger in the Kia, a woman in her 50s, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.

The driver of the Kia, a man in his 60s, and the driver of the Volkswagen, a man in his 20s, were also taken to hospital with less serious injuries.

West Mercia Police officers are carrying out enquiries into the collision and are appealing for witnesses, including any motorists on the road at the time with dash-cam footage.
