THE most crime-hit residential streets in Worcester can be revealed.

As previously reported there were 1,069 crimes reported across Worcester in May - the latest month of data released by West Mercia Police.

The data has been released by the force revealing the number of the types of crime reported, as well as their location.

Breaking down the data by street reveals the most crime-hit residential street was Tolladine Road which had 18 reports. 

Gresham Road in Dines Green had 13 reports, Honister Drive in Brickfields had 12 reports while Brookthrope Close in Wall Meadow had 11 reports. 

The most crime-hit city centre road was Castle Street which had 19 reports in May.

 

 

The data reveals burglaries were reported in Midland Road, Selsey Close, Rodborough Drive and Rowley Hill Street. 

Public order offences were reported in Birchfield Close, Brecknock Close, Blackpole Road and Fairmount Close.

Worcestershire Royal Hospital had a burglary while there were 30 crimes at supermarkets across the city including shoplifting, drug offences and public order.

The most common crime type in May was violence and sexual offences which had 336 reports. 

The second most reported crime type that month was anti-social behaviour with 187 reports. 

And the third most reported crime type in May was shoplifting with 151 reports. 

In comparison, there were 1,050 crimes reported across Worcester in April.
