A POPULAR riverside inn near Worcester with an 'idyllic location' has been renamed and reinvented to capture the unique beauty of the spot say the new managers.
The Riverside Inn in Shrawley - formerly called the Lenchford Inn - which had been closed for months has been taken over by new managers and, since then, has undergone a dramatic transformation.
The inn is described by managers as a modern British inn – 'a place to eat, drink and sleep'.
"Set in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, we serve locally sourced, seasonal food in a relaxed and welcoming setting," said a spokesperson.
The inn is around nine miles from Worcester, taking around 20 minutes to get there by car and is near other popular places including Top Barn and the Holt Fleet.
New managers took over The Riverside Inn on March 28 this year. A spokesperson for the inn said: "Since then, we have been committed to transforming it into a welcoming and vibrant destination for our patrons."

The change of name was agreed by the three business partners who took over the venture.
"Upon taking over the establishment, we decided to rename it The Riverside Inn. We believed that this name better reflects the pub's idyllic location alongside the river and complements the charming ambience we wanted to create."
Changes have included a refurbishment of part of the interior.
A spokesperson for the inn said: "Our primary objective was to breathe new life into the space while preserving its character. The interior revamp included a careful blend of modern elements and traditional design, creating a cosy and convivial atmosphere for our valued customers.
"The premises had been temporarily closed for a good few months before we took over. During this period, we dedicated significant effort and resources to ensure a seamless reopening and to bring a refreshed experience to our patrons.
