CARS honked their horns as scores of Peaky Blinders paraded around the city.

While the Shelby family were known for causing trouble - this group of Peaky Blinders fans put on their flat caps and overcoats for a good cause.

Around 40 people dressed in Peaky Blinders-style clothing walked around Worcester and hosted a special event at the Bedwardine Inn in St John's to raise money for  the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

"Some people were taking videos and photos, others beeping their horns shouting 'Peakys, we were a bit like celebrities."

The group started their trip to Worcester Bus Station and then walked to the cathedral and racecourse.

The group finished at the Bedwardine Inn, where everyone was invited to listen to music and take pictures with them and their old-fashioned 'peaky'  bus.

Punters at the packed pub could buy badges, beer mats, pens and cakes with the Worcester Peaky Blinder logo on them, with all money raised going to charity.

"What was nice is seeing 40 or 50 people together, no one knowing each other, and it is like bringing the family together."

One West Midlands Peaky Blinder Group member travelled all the way from Norfolk to join in on the charity event today (Sunday).

Amsterdam was the furthest Rachel Harvey has travelled to for a Peaky Blinders event.

"Apart from a lot of walking, it went well, and people were coming up to us saying how good we looked," she said.

"It is like a family and the support you get from them all and the dressing up.

"It is the friendships you make."
