A WOMAN has suffered potentially serious injuries in a crash near Worcester which left three hurt.

The crash, which involved two cars, happened at 9.35am at the junction of the A44 and the B4084 at Egdon, near Worcester.

 

 

Paramedics rushed to the scene of the Egdon crash with two casualties taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital in Worcester.

A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to reports of a two-car RTC at the junction of the A44 and B4084 at 9.35am.

"Two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.

"On arrival we discovered three patients.

"A woman was treated for potentially serious injuries and a man for injuries not believed to be serious before they were both taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

"A third patient was assessed and discharged at the scene."

A car and a van were left with heavy front-end damage.

Worcestershire County Council Highways advised drivers to avoid the route in the aftermath of the crash.
