YOUTHS have been arrested after police responded to reports of motorbikes being stolen.

Patrol officers attended Glenthorne Avenue in Brickfields, Worcester at 1.15am yesterday after they responded to reports from members of the public that people were trying to steal motorbikes. 

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Five suspects which included one adult and four juvenile males were arrested. They all live within South Worcestershire. They were jointly processed in Custody at Worcester by Patrol and Proactive CID led by DS Grant Fraser."

In the early hours of this morning (Friday), Shane Perry, a 20-year-old male from Milward Close in Worcester was charged together with a 17 year-old male from Worcester with conspiracy to commit burglary dwelling in relation to home Burglaries from October 14 and 16 which took place at Richmond Road and Goodwood Rd, Malvern.

Perry and the 17-year-old were also charged with theft of a Mercedes, Citroën, BMW, and Hyundai that happened on October 15 in Malvern.

Both suspects were remanded in police custody to attend remand court today at Kidderminster.

A third male, a 16 year old from Worcester, has also been remanded in police cells to attend the remand court at Kidderminster later today to answer to an allegation of his failing to comply with court bail conditions.
