GRITTERS will be out on Worcestershire roads tonight as temperatures plunge below zero on what is expected to be a bitterly cold night.
Road temperatures in the county are expected to drop to -5.3C with a hoar frost and ice predicted.
A spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council said: "Very cold and dry overnight with lengthy clear periods - road surface temperatures will fall to a minimum of -5.3˚C with the risk of hoar frost and ice in any wet patches.
"Please take care if out and about on the roads tonight and tomorrow morning."
