A NEW coin with the face of King Charles is already on sale on a popular auction site for up to £200.
The 2023 50p coin featuring the head of King Charles III is on eBay after being put up for sale by a seller from Worcester.
Starting bids for the uncirculated coin are placed at £120 and the price is listed as £200.
Charles III acceded to the throne on September 8, 2022. The Royal Mint is selling 'the first definitive coins' of the King's reign, comprising the 1p to the £2.
Each features a brand-new reverse design. For £34 buyers can purchase the 'historic collection' that features eight brand-new reverse designs that pay tribute to King Charles III, the four nations of the United Kingdom and the natural world.
Each coin is embellished with a privy mark that is exclusive to this 2023-dated set.
