THE spectacular Wolf Moon had stargazers howling with delight while one photographer captured some breathtaking images of the New Year's first full moon.
The first full moon of 2024 occurred on Thursday as it dazzled observers and photographers alike in Worcester.
It is believed that January’s full moon came to be called the Wolf Moon because wolves were more likely to be heard howling at this time.
Juliet Meadows captured these stunning images of the Wolf Moon and shared them on the Worcester News Camera Club's Facebook page.
The moon was also particularly bright on Friday across Worcestershire because of the clear skies.
