NEITHER driver was hurt during a crash in Worcester which caused a police incident. 

Three police cars and two ambulances attended the scene of the crash on the A4440 Nunnery Way in Worcester near KFC at around 5.30pm last night (Wednesday).

We reported that one car had been towed away and its occupants were standing  at the side of the road in the aftermath of the crash.

The left hand side of the carriageway on the A4440 going towards Worcester was blocked in one lane before the accident was cleared.

A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We received a call yesterday (31 January) around 5.30pm with a report of a collision on Nunnery Way in Worcester.

"Officers attended the incident to find two vehicles involved.

No injuries to either party."

A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "An ambulance came across a minor collision on Nunnery Way close to the KFC at just before 5.40pm on Wednesday evening involving three vehicles.  A second ambulance that was passing also briefly stopped.  No-one was injured and both ambulances continued on shortly afterwards."
