A WOOD fire near Droitwich was brought under control by firefighters last night.
The fire was reported at School Road, Hanbury, near Droitwich at 4.48pm last night.
A crew from Droitwich Fire Station attended.
A spokesperson for the Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said: "A small fire involving wood, around 2m by 2m, was well alight and extinguished using a hosereel jet with a thermal imaging camera used to check for hot spots.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended. The incident was marked as pending closure at 5.16pm."
