MYSTERY surrounds a car covered in police tape at the side of a dual carriageway in Worcester.
The grey Ford Fiesta has been parked at the side of the A4440 Swinesherd Way in Worcester on the approach to the County Hall roundabout for at least three days.
The online Government vehicle enquiry service suggests the car is untaxed with the tax having been due on April 10 but with a valid MOT certificate which does not expire until March 25 next year.
The car does not appear to have suffered any damage but was covered in blue and white West Mercia Police tape.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Officers have placed the tape around vehicle to highlight that we are aware of it being there.
It is believed the vehicle has broken down and officers will monitor it."
