A DRIVER has been caught by automatic cameras on the M5 near Worcester, resulting in a large court fine.
Gary White was clocked speeding in his Mercedes on the M5 between junctions 4a and 6 with the case against him proved in his absence.
The case was heard at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, May 30.
The 57-year-old of Grove Park Road, Weston-super-Mare, was caught exceeding the variable speed limit of 60mph by an automatic camera device on July 9 last year.
The verdict was proved in absence on May 30.
He was fined £60, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £24 and costs of £116.
A collection order was also made, giving the court extra powers to recover the money.
His driving record was also endorsed with three penalty points.
