A DRIVER who carried out a 'wheelspin' in Worcester in front of a marked police car was last night stopped by officers.
Police shared this photo of a BMW in Warndon Villages in Worcester after the speeding driver carried out the manoeuvre under the gaze of officers who were watching from inside a marked police car.
The photo of the stopped car was shared by Warndon Safer Neighbourhood Team, part of West Mercia Police, via X (formerly Twitter).
A Warndon SNT spokesperson said: "When you wheel spin off a traffic island then flout the speed limit in front of a marked police vehicle, expect to be stopped.
"Driver reported for two offences and a Section 59 warning given. Rushing to Tesco is not an excuse to put lives at risk.
