A legendary dancer turned heads at a festival as a Worcester photographer captured the moment.

Bez, known for his work with Happy Mondays, took to the stage at the Cheltenham Cider Festival, rolling back the years.

These images of the performance were captured by Mark Garness, a member of Worcester News Camera Club.

Mark Berry, better known as Bez, is an English dancer, DJ and media personality who performed as a member of the rock bands Happy Mondays and Black Grape.

Cheltenham Cider Festival took place at Cheltenham North Rugby Club with Bez performing a DJ set on Sunday, May 25.

Bez joined the Happy Mondays, formed in Salford in 1980, as an onstage dancer and maracas player, becoming a mascot for the band.

Other performers included The Wurzels, Mark Walby, Siracuse and Make Mine a Double.

The Wurzels are an English Scrumpy and Western band from Somerset, best known for their number one hit "The Combine Harvester" and number three hit "I Am a Cider Drinker" in 1976.

Other highlights included a tractor pull competition, welly wanging, a fastest sausage eating competition and an apple eating contest.

But, as always, cider takes centre stage with '100 unique ciders' from local producers, national favourites, and even some international surprises'.
