A popular cafe in a historic corner of the city has opened a new garden to the public.
The garden is now open at the Priory cafe in 44 Friar Street, Worcester, a new addition the business which first opened its doors last October.
Symon Powell, one of the owners, said: "The roof scaffolding has come down and the garden is now open at The Priory. This is following six months of work restoring the roof of this listed building.
"The garden includes a ‘cosy corner’, where you can sit and relax in comfort, with a glass of Prosecco or an aperol spritz. The decked area of the garden is fully covered, so can be enjoyed even when it’s raining. We’re so happy to be able to welcome customers into our little oasis in the heart of Worcester city centre."

The Priory can be found on Friar Street next to The Tudor Museum.
The cafe bar serves a range of signature dishes from corned beef hash to salmon and asparagus rosti and from beer battered fish and chips to an all day breakfast burger.
The business serves breakfast, all day brunch, lunch and afternoon tea and cakes and, because it is licensed to sell alcohol, a range of beers and wines are also available.
A variety of sandwiches are served from ham, brie and honey mustard to Scottish smoked salmon. Toasties are also on the menu from cheddar to tuna and cheese and brie and cranberry.
