Developers have issued an apology in regards to a residential road being left a"mess."

United Living is the developer at the site on Oldbury Road.

A spokesperson said: "We are sorry that the road adjacent to our development on Oldbury Road, Worcester was muddy. This was because, on the day in question, the road sweeper booked for site broke down in transit and a replacement had to be diverted to site, causing a delay of several hours.

“A representative from Malvern Council Planning Department visited as a result of this complaint and was happy with arrangements, although we have now also ordered a jet wash to be used at the gate. The officer confirmed this was the first complaint received for the project.

“We visit local residents regularly and carry out letter drops to keep them advised of works. The situation will be improved when the highways works are completed, which will be in the near future.”
