The victim in the assault by beating was a woman.

On September 3 last year Bonehill, of Dellows Close, Kings Norton, and previously of The Holloway, Droitwich, damaged a window pane at a property in Droitwich.

And Bonehill failed to attend Worcester Magistrates Court on March 2 this year, leading to him being charged.

Bonehill previously admitted the offences at various court hearings and was warned on each occasion to attend future court hearings or face further punishment.

At the start of his sentencing Muzir Waheed, defending Bonehill, said the defendant had failed to turn up for court and he had not been in contact with him.

The solicitor said he had spoken to Bonehill's mother prior to the hearing, warning him when the case was and he understood the message had been passed to the 34-year-old.

Magistrates heard a warrant had previously been issued for Bonehill for breaching post-sentence supervision requirements which included the failure to attend appointments.

A probation service representative told the court: "His current whereabouts are currently unknown to us."

Harry Turner, chairman of the magistrates bench, said: "We have to issue a warrant in respect of Mr Bonehill for failing to attend today."
